Edgewater Yacht Club offers a perfect way to get into boating, no matter your skill level! Our small group and private lessons are affordable and comprehensive, teaching you the basics if you're just getting started or helping experienced boaters take their skills to the next level. Our instructors can help you become the boater you want to be. No prior experience necessary!
Our Adult Sailing Lessons are great for individuals with any level of sailing skills. We help beginners learn how to steer, control the sails, and practice basic maneuvers. After a brief lesson on land, students will get hands experience on the water from our skilled sailing staff. Already have basic sailing skills? Come with a goal you want to achieve, and we will help you achieve it.
Lessons take place on a J/70 keelboat, with 1 instructor and up to 3 participants. Our Weeknight lessons take place three evenings during the week, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If you are interested in being notified when lessons open for scheduling, please fill out the form below.
Our private sailing lessons provide you with the ultimate personalized sailing experience! Enjoy the privacy of an instructor and boat all to yourself, making it perfect for both newcomers and experienced sailors alike.
